Bentley was our first Weimaraner.  He came to us at 8 weeks of age from Holly and Frank Colucci of Colray Weimaraners.  We met them through their website and it was an instant friendship.  We went to a Retrieving Dog test to meet Holly and Frank as well as their crew of grey dogs including mama Faye.  We fell in love with the breed that day.  Faye chose us just as much as we chose our breeder and the rest is history.  We drove from Alliston to Windsor to visit puppies as they were growing up and then to pick up our new boy.  The drive is never too long when you consider what's waiting at the end. The bond we formed visiting with the breeder and puppies before we took Bentley home is irreplaceable.  

As an introduction to the breed, Bentley did everything he could to test us but he has taken us on an incredible journey. He is our introduction to all things dog sport and  we've been hooked from the word go.   

He has performed in the show ring, in the rally ring, and in the bird field.  He will tackle anything asked of him and do so with gusto. 

He is an independent soul who enjoys relaxing on his own, making his cuddles even more special. 

After a full life we said our goodbyes to Bentley on May 6 , 2022.  He will be missed dearly and his legacy will continue on in the puppies he's produced including our girl Yahtzee.
