Do they shed?

Yes!  Weimaraners are notorious shedders.  They blow their coat out in the spring and fall, and most of the months in between.  Frequent brushing will keep the shedding down, we recommend a hound mitt. 

Are they hypoallergenic?

No.  Weimaraners are not hypoallergenic, but will affect people with allergies differently depending on what exactly you're allergic to.  

Do they have separation anxiety?

They can develop separation anxiety, so it is recommended that they learn how to spend time by themselves from a young age.  They are the cutest puppies known to man so the desire to snuggle at all times while they are babies is very real.  Make sure to balance this out with time spent on their own dog bed or in their crate sleeping.
